POSITION TITLE/JOB CODE:    Operations Assistant                

FUNCTIONS:

In this role, the Operations Assistant works with the Director to provide services that are essential in the achievement of organizational goals.

OTHER:

  • Must have reliable transportation as this position will require attending meetings in the community.
  • Acceptable DOH background check, FBI Fingerprint, OIG Exclusion check
  • Negative Drug/TB Screening and Health Certificate
  • CPR/First Aid Certification must be acquired and maintained once employed

Principal Activities:

  • Coordinate/develop schedule, manage emails, data entry/typing
  • Research information, develop reports, schedule meetings
  • Manage phones and make phone calls, event support
  • Contact potential applicants and schedule appointments
  • Interact with community providers
  • Provide and coordinate referrals/Call and set up appointments
  • Establish and maintain a community resources and referral index.
  • Perform duties as outlined in Program’s Operation Manual.
  • Perform duties as assigned
  • Assist with billing
  • Attend meetings/Customer Services
  • Assist with News- letter and website
  • Develops and tracks meaningful outcomes and data collection for the organization and makes the data useful to the program leaders.
  • Attend Community Fairs and Events/Community Engagement to include prayer sessions
