POSITION TITLE/JOB CODE:    Operations Assistant                

FUNCTIONS:

In this role, the Operations Assistant works with the Director to provide services that are essential in the achievement of organizational goals.

OTHER:

  • Must have reliable transportation as this position will require attending meetings in the community.
  • Acceptable background check, FBI Fingerprint, OIG Exclusion check
  • Negative Drug/TB Screening and Health Certificate
  • CPR/First Aid Certification must be acquired and maintained once employed

Principal Activities:

  • Coordinate/develop schedules, manage emails, data entry/typing
  • Manage front desk/answers phone/file documents
  • Write letters/Mail out packages
  • Communicate with funders, staff and clients
  • Manage/update schedules
  • Schedule and conduct meetings as needed.
  • Assist with Outreach/Media efforts
  • Interact with community providers
  • Provide and coordinate referrals/Call and set up appointments
  • Establish and maintain a community resources and referral index.
  • Maintain/manages records in accordance with funder requirements
  • Attend Outreach Events/Meetings in support of the organizations mission
  • Perform duties as outlined in Program’s Operation Manual.
  • Perform duties as assigned
  • Attend meetings/Outreach Events
  • Assist with News- letter and website
  • Develops and tracks meaningful outcomes and data collection for the organization and makes the data useful to the program leaders.
  • Attend Community Fairs and Events/Community Engagement to include prayer sessions
