Once we believe something, we will begin to make assumptions about life based on what we believe. As such, we cannot afford to be dominated by thoughts that are not in line with the Word of God. For example, if you believe that God has a purpose for your life, then you will assume that God is always with you and that you can’t fail. And if you believe that God is with you, it will be much easier for you to trust that things in your life will work out for good. Unfortunately any thought, feeling or situation that we allow to draw us away from God will be detrimental to our ability to fulfill the call of God for our lives. That is why we must allow the Word of God to be both an anchor and a mirror for our thoughts and feelings.
