Hiding or suppressing feelings of anger can be just as detrimental as overreacting to those feelings. For example, some people pride themselves on never showing their anger. On the outside, these people are the picture of self-control, but in reality, they use this façade of control to hide behind feelings of unhappiness and anxiety. But God never meant us to hide our feelings, to cover up how we are really feeling with a lie, or to present a false picture of ourselves. Suppressing our anger and always trying to project a perfect image is a lot of work. So ask God to heal you and to deliver you from the mask you wear to disguise your hurts. If your anger is keeping you from being all that God designed you to be, seek God for help.
