Our thoughts, feelings and behaviors feed off each other, and together they will influence how we respond or do not respond to situations we confront. As such, we must guard our thoughts and not allow negative feelings and behaviors control our lives. Now please understand it is not uncommon to think or feel negatively from time to time, but negative thoughts and feelings must be challenged and put into proper perspective. Unfortunately, if you think you are hopeless, stupid and undeserving of good things in life, then that is the way you will feel and behave. If we allow them, our negative thoughts will cause us to live a defeated life and keep us from fulfilling the plan God has for us. If you feel hopeless, stupid and undeserving, it will be difficult for you to believe you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you no matter how many times you quote the Scripture verse. There is victory in the Word of God, but we have to fight for it. Fight? Yes, fight.
